Built for strength, stability, and performance. At Built-Rite Trailers, we design and manufacture custom-engineered pontoon and tritoon boat trailers built for durability, balance, and long-term reliability.
Attributes
Double Bend Tongue
A double-bend frame extends the trailer length, improving weight distribution, ground clearance, and durability over the old-school single bend. The added length means you don’t have to back in as far on ramps, keeping your vehicle dry while making loading and unloading easier.
Drilled & Fastened
Instead of welding, we drill and fasten all components with stainless steel fasteners, ensuring superior durability, flexibility, and ease of maintenance.
Straight Heavy Duty Crossmembers
Our crossmembers enhance stability and strength, ensuring smoother towing and better load distribution. We use torsion axles and bent crossmembers to carry the boat at a lower center of gravity, providing a more stable ride—unlike competitors who simply raise the bunks, making the boat sit higher.
6061-T6 Marine Grade Aluminum
Crafted from marine-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, our trailers offer exceptional corrosion resistance and lightweight durability, ideal for withstanding harsh marine environments.
Whether you own a recreational pontoon for weekend cruising or a high-performance tritoon with larger horsepower, our trailers are crafted to provide superior weight distribution, smooth towing, and secure transport.

Above and Beyond!
"Mike is a great guy, he built me a beast of a trailer. All I can say he went above and beyond. Mike is a builder who would rather over build than try and skimp and cut corners!"

Mike was AWESOME!!!!!!
"He is extremely knowledgeable. I called looking for a pontoon trailer for a Bennington tri-toon. He said that he had a few ready to go but if not he could build me one and have it done in a day or two tops. He asked for the measurements so he could set it up for my boat. I didn't know the exact measurements, but that didn't slow him down. He said his buddy had the same boat as mine about 30 mins away. He drove to his buddies house and got the measurements and had the trailer ready the next day. He was even willing to stay open late or let me pick up on a day he was closed. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. Extremely well built and very heavy duty."

Frequently Asked Questions
Get the Answers You Need to Make the Best Choice for Your Pontoon or Tritoon Trailer.
What size trailer do I need for my pontoon boat?
Your trailer must match your pontoon’s overall length, beam width, tube diameter, and total loaded weight. Built-Rite custom-builds trailers to ensure proper load support and safe towing capacity.
Do tritoon boats require special trailers?
Yes. Tritoons typically weigh more and require center tube support along with higher axle and brake capacity. A properly engineered tritoon trailer ensures stability and structural protection.
Are Built-Rite pontoon trailers good for long-distance towing?
Absolutely. Our axle placement, frame strength, and braking systems are designed for smooth highway travel and reduced sway.
Can I order a custom pontoon trailer?
Yes. Built-Rite specializes in custom-built pontoon and tritoon trailers tailored to your exact boat specifications.
